Meg Tucker

Overview

Meg Tucker is a Principal Research Associate for Behavioral Health and Health Policy. She is an experienced researcher and project director specializing in health program evaluation in government, community, and clinical settings. She is a skilled qualitative researcher with extensive experience facilitating focus groups and semistructured interviews. Tucker brings substantive experience in program design and implementation, with a focus on health care quality and access to care.

Tucker currently plays a leading role in the management of patient-centered outcomes research, specializing in methodologies that incorporate patient and other relevant perspectives in the design, implementation, and dissemination of research and research findings. She directs the evaluation of CMS’s Maternal Opioid Misuse Model, focusing on innovative approaches to capture policy leader, clinician, and patient perspectives on comprehensive treatment for opioid use disorder for pregnant and postpartum people. Earlier, Tucker was a Senior Research Project Manager at the Johns Hopkins University, where she developed, implemented, and evaluated public health programs for diverse populations and areas.
